Freedom Park Visit

Remembering the years...

Freedom Park was one of my favorite places to visit growing up a Carolina Guy. Every year the park hosts an event called Festival  in the Park. Food carts, carnival rides, art dealers and tons of people pack the park yearly to enjoy one of Charlotte's beautiful areas. I remember being in Kindergarten, over 39 years ago and having to perform in the festival. The park is truly one of Charlotte's magical places, especially traveling back with my son watching him learn to longboard where I ran and played as a kid.

Freedom Park Band Shell
Hippie Hill - Yep, that's what the locals call it!
